For those too lazy to read three paragraphs, a group of Iraqis gathered to thank the American troops. One reveler, speaking for the crowd, has just written Iraq's national motto:

What, the man was asked, did he hope to see now that the Baath Party had been driven from power in his town? What would the Americans bring?

"Democracy," the man said, his voice rising to lift each word to greater prominence. "Whiskey. And sexy!"

Around him, the crowd roared its approval.


Damn straight. Somebody make a T-Shirt and crown this man founding father of Iraq.

And whenever someone asks you why we're sending our men to die, you may now respond in turn. Let loud cries of, "Democracy! Whiskey! Sexy!" ring from the mountaintops and spread around the world.
